"Every rider has his own style and his gear must match. Freestyling, freeriding, splitboarding, I want you to find what you look for. Call me on 020 3129 3301."

Here's the famous Pantera by Nitro, a very powerful and tonic snowboard with rigid tips, an important classic camber, and a setback stance to ride faster than ever on piste and powder. A real beast for carving and freeride alike!

What's on the agenda for the Nitro Pantera snowboard?

The Pantera features a directional shape that was made to tackle large curves, its tapered form combined to the setback stance give it a natural ability for cornering and powder. The progressive turning radius should give you a nice helping hand to handle this monster, facilitating turns entries all while offering you more rebound at turn exits. The classic camber offers a radical grip that will allow you to charge hard in the turns without skidding while the wood core and its triple layer of fiberglass and carbon stiffeners bring an unparalleled stability and tonicity.

Who is the Nitro Pantera snowboard for?

The Pantera is a very exclusive board made for advanced to expert snowboarders that love speed above everything else for epic runs on piste and powder. Ultra rigid, it requires powerful legs and proper skills but if you want something unbendable, you'll love it!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
