Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

New from Jones, the Mind Expander Twin blends the playability and flow of the Mind Expander in the powder with the freestyle skills of a twin-tip shape. The result is a board that is ultra-playful, ready to drop tricks at the drop of a hat and super fun to ride on the slopes and between the pines. The flex is accessible and the camber + rocker profile will give you a satisfying grip on the slopes while providing comfort from edge to edge and on the slopes/off-piste. Finally, the symmetrical shape allows you to switch easily and provides maximum freestyle options. It's a really fun board that will allow you to let your creativity run wild and explore the slopes and off-piste areas of the resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
