The Jones Flagship is a head-to-toe directional snowboard, designed for curve and speed. Its construction focuses on performance, with a wood core armored with reinforcements providing a rigid flex, a high density Sintered 9 900 sole and a camber + rockers profile with specific shape technologies such as the Traction Tech 3.0 and 3D Base Contour 3.0. High performance and ecological seeing as most the materials used are eco-friendly, with FSC certified wood, bio-sourced glue and wax, recycled edges and edges, etc.  

What is the Jones Flagship snowboard program?  

The Flagship is capable of handling all types of snow thanks to its efficient directional profile and shaping technologies. The classic camber and wavy edges provide superb grip on hard snow, while the directional rocker and slightly convex shape of the spatula's smooth transitions from edge to edge. In powder, the rocker, tapered shape and the setback foot position provide unlimited flotation for sending big slashes, tracing between the pines and jumping from pillow to pillow. It's like a dream, except you have to give 100% because it remains a physically demanding board. You've understood it, this freeride gun will allow you to ride hard whether on the slopes or on the rest of the mountain.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
