The Jones Ultra Mind Expander is a freeride snowboard with an alternative shape developed by Chris Christenson and Jeremy Jones, combined with a high quality and high-performance construction.
A supercharged version of the Mind Expander, the Ultra Mind Expander takes the same shape with the addition of a classic camber and an "Ultra" construction that offers grip, power and stability. The construction combines performance and eco-design, and includes FSC-certified wood, basalt reinforcements, bio-based glue and wax, as well as recycled edges and borders.
What is the program of the Jones Ultra Mind Expander snowboard?
This highly directional snowboard is designed to provide maximum curving ability on all terrains. The very setback foot position and the more rigid flex on the back provides lots of control and fluidity during turns. Although this is not the most stable carving board from Jones, the classic camber and the wavy Traction Tech 3.0 edges provide excellent edge grip. Off-piste, the high volume and front spatula rocker provide a rock-solid off-road lift. Don't worry about it, the Ultra Mind Expander will allow you to take full advantage of the big snow conditions. Thus, you have a board that offers you a lot of control and dynamism in curves, allows you to put rhythm in all your descents, while enjoying the efficiency and originality of its shape.
Who is the Jones Ultra Mind Expander snowboard for?
This model is perfect for experienced or expert snowboarders looking to vary the terrain, put rhythm in the descents and have fun in the snow as soon as the conditions allow it. If you also want a snowboard with a slightly different shape than what is available on the market, you will be delighted!
