We already know the Rockwell, it is Amplid’s beast built to ride on every type of snow and terrains. Well, it’s back and it’s tougher than ever with a new carbon reinforcement enhancing its efficacy on hard snow. It was already a pretty good model and performed well on groomed snow, but this newer version is definitely better. Still built on a freeski basis, the ski comes with a twin-tip profile and a dual-rocker. It also features a pretty short turning radius for added agility making the new Rockwell a very playful model that can run switch if you like to.
What can the Amplid Rockwell freeride ski do?
This ski entirely redefines versatility. Its 95mm-waist delivers quick edge to edge response on the hardpack and offers a reliable floatation on pow. The twin-tip shape offers the agility and the playfulness freestylers need to have fun on natural features and allows for switch riding. The ski plows through the crud with ease and links every part of the resort without a problem. The Rockwell feels very playful and fun to move around, it’s a great choice if you want a multitasker that’s good at everything.
Who’s the Amplid Rockwell freeride ski designed for?
It’s made for intermediate up to expert skiers who want a freeski with a short turning radius. That makes the ski fun to steer on piste without compromising its off-piste abilities.
