The Drifter is the swiss army knife of riders who ride everywhere on the mountain. The board is well knowned in Flow’s catalogue and it has been tested by riders for years. Tested and proven to be efficient, the 2017 version returns with more ambitions than ever.

What can the Flow Drifter snowboard do?

The Drifter is the all-terrain offering by Flow, standing as a mid-range product, you get the mix of high-end technologies and low-end price for an excellent value to performance ratio, with an extra touch of playfulness.  Let’s begin the introduction. The board features a true twin shape suited for freestyle amateurs. Switch, regular, you can fine tune your technique and rely on the board’s pop for shredding the park from dawn to dusk if you like. But everybody isn’t a freestyler born to rip, that’s why the Drifter ensures all-terrain versatility, in order to satisfy everyone. The dual camber provides a strong edge control and great stability in all conditions. The medium flex (6/10 on Flow’s scale) offers a smooth and forgiving feel without sacrificing responsiveness and performance. Finally, if it’s powder you’re after, you can put your fears to rest, if your technique is good enough, you’ll get the Drifter to float through the deep, slash ridges, stomp pillows and lay fat butters with more style than Jackson’s moonwalks.

Who is the Flow Drifter snowboard designed for?

We recommend it to those looking for a highly versatile board that remains easy to control. Less powerful than the Blackout, it’s a great go-to board for ripping all day and having fun everywhere. Park, piste or powder, you’ll perform all around if you have an intermediate to advanced level.

Structure - Construction

  • Triax fibreglass with Carbon  :

Our TriAxial composites have additionnal fibers running at a 45 degree angle, plus 7 vertically stitched carbon stringers centered with the inserts. This Glass/Carbon composite matrix gives ample pop with torsional stability.

  • ReFlex Core  :

Flow's lightest and most responsive core gives you the highest strength-to-weight wood construction known to man. Focused response where you need it, and more low-to-mid-density woods in specificlocations throughout the board increase strength while decreasing weight, and make your ride all that much easier.

Shape - Sidecuts

  • 3-DT Sidecut  :

Smooth with tons of grip, The 3D Transitional sidecut blend is uniquely different between the feet, mellow for I-Rock and super tight for Pop-Cam boards. Mellow tips and aggressive radius in the binding areas gives unlimited grip for an overall super smooth agile ride.

  • Shape TruTwin  :

Equal amounts of nose and tail allow a rider equal opportunity to ride in any direction.

Rocker - Camber

  • I-Rock  :

Reverse camber and convex base between bindings so you tackle the park or any slope on the mountain.

  • Kush Control Technology  :

The Flow Kush Control Technology consists of 3 unique urethan features strategically placed in the base, sidewall and topsheet to create the smoothest andstrongest snowboards available on the hill. Urethane is flexible and highly resistant to impacts in extremly cold temperatures. Urethane is also utilized due to its superior bonding properties and can withstand the abuse taht a snowboard endures. The dampening properties of urethane act like skateboards wheels and provide you the smoothest ride possible.

  • Sintered 4000  :

PE Sintered base UHMW for a better glide, resistance and wax absorbtion.
