Flow Drifter 2017
The Drifter is the swiss army knife of riders who ride everywhere on the mountain. The board is well knowned in Flow’s catalogue and it has been tested by riders for years. Tested and proven to be efficient, the 2017 version returns with more ambitions than ever.
What can the Flow Drifter snowboard do?
The Drifter is the all-terrain offering by Flow, standing as a mid-range product, you get the mix of high-end technologies and low-end price for an excellent value to performance ratio, with an extra touch of playfulness. Let’s begin the introduction. The board features a true twin shape suited for freestyle amateurs. Switch, regular, you can fine tune your technique and rely on the board’s pop for shredding the park from dawn to dusk if you like. But everybody isn’t a freestyler born to rip, that’s why the Drifter ensures all-terrain versatility, in order to satisfy everyone. The dual camber provides a strong edge control and great stability in all conditions. The medium flex (6/10 on Flow’s scale) offers a smooth and forgiving feel without sacrificing responsiveness and performance. Finally, if it’s powder you’re after, you can put your fears to rest, if your technique is good enough, you’ll get the Drifter to float through the deep, slash ridges, stomp pillows and lay fat butters with more style than Jackson’s moonwalks.
Who is the Flow Drifter snowboard designed for?
We recommend it to those looking for a highly versatile board that remains easy to control. Less powerful than the Blackout, it’s a great go-to board for ripping all day and having fun everywhere. Park, piste or powder, you’ll perform all around if you have an intermediate to advanced level.
